Three Mississippi

pLEASE TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF:

Hello, everyone,
I am very happy to share my story with you. I've been in coffee for over 12 years. I remember in 2012 when I met my wife in a coffee shop in Mariupol, where I am from. That moment was special because I found my two loves in one place - my wife and freshly roasted coffee. Soon I started working in a coffee shop with my own roastery. I gained my first experience as a championship participant in 2017 at the coffee roasting championship held at the Platforma Art Factory. Back then, I was working as a roaster at Fresh Black. I remember running between my battles to the neighboring pavilion to roast at the championship.

I love coffee that brings emotions. I especially like to see people's reactions to pure coffee without sugar, milk, or other additives. After Russia's invasion of Ukraine, coffee brought me back to action and during the war in Ukraine, I helped launch a specialty coffee roasting facility after the de-occupation of the Kyiv region. Now these companies have regained their confidence, and I continue to look for the highest quality coffee from the importer, CoffeeMaxGreen. And I found strength in my own project Three Mississippi, where I look for the most interesting lots and roast coffee.

what are you excited to do while you are in Copenhagen?:

It will be my first time in Copenhagen, so I will run at least 10 kilometers around the city at the first opportunity and have breakfast in a coffee shop.

what are your interests outside of coffee?:

I spend my life with good people, run, ride my road bike in SBC. Love photography and cinema. I ran a trail ultramarathon and learned to be a film editor

is there anyone you’d like to thank?:

I would like to thank the defenders of Ukraine, thanks to whom I have the opportunity to give people joy coffee during the war and represent the country at the world level!
